The Association of Users for the Development of Libourne les Artigues de Lussac Aerodrome (AUDAAL) was created in 2015 to promote the activities of its members.
It defined new goals in 2018:
- Develop aeronautical and related activities
- Play an active role in the management and organisation of the aerodrome
- Promote the image of the aerodrome and its activities
- Organise a wide range of events to generate income at local level
As of 1 January 2019, AUDAAL comprises 4 associations and 3 businesses:
The Associations
- ULM Sensation – microlight club, member of FFPLUM
- GCA 33 (Amateur Aircraft Builders of Gironde) – member of the RSA
- Libourne Model Aircraft Club – member of FFAM
- The Sky is Yours! (Hot Air Balloon Club) – member of FFA
The Businesses
- La Terrasse d'Eole (aerodrome restaurant)
- Aéro Service Restauration (aircraft maintenance and repairs)
- La Ferme du Ciel (hot air balloon flights, gîte accommodation)
AUDAAL operates in close consultation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bordeaux Gironde, which is responsible for managing the aerodrome, and also in partnership with the local authorities and interest groups.
